Thank you for the nice comms.
That's funny how it seems complicate for lot of people to sculpt miniatures, when for me it's very difficult to just try big (well 10cm is really huge, isn't it?) scales!!! I'd love to finally find the time to try 1/6e.

Hello all,
In December was released the boardgame named Claustrophobia. Taking place in the world of HellDorado, some humans fight against demons in caves...
I sculpted two human models for this game, designs were from the studio, and as they are produced in pre-painted plastic, I had to adapt my sculpture skills for it, and it was pretty interesting.
Made in Fimo and Magic Sculp, the big guy is 36mm at eyes, the runner 29mm...
More details, pictures on my blog (signature).

Hi all!!!!
Been long time since I've posted around.
First of all, Happy New Year!!!
Here are pictures of the Blade Master male I've sculpted in 2008 for HellDorado. Made in Fimo, 28mm from heel to eye.
I loved making these tentacles! :D

Actually, I'm using a cork as well, under the piece of "balsa" (don't know the english term for this kind of "wood"). Both are isolating the model from a base that could be very hot, and balsa is perfectly flat, so, I've already got the ground under feet.

Hi guys,
here comes another model made for Helldorado, metal miniatures game.
He is called Chang Lee, inspired from Jet Li, and he is a special character of the game, with special aptitudes such as bare hands fighter. He is in contact with demons, as you can see on his chest and both arms.
Made in Fimo, 30mm scale.
More pictures, and bigger! on my blog. Go have a look ;)

Thank you all,
Twist_adz> never tried yet, but still have it in mind. Hope I will soon!
Stokleplinger> actually, it wasn't "placed". I put different large volumes of Fimo, making approximatively general form, and then, carved it, Fimo being still "fresh", with needles, and smoothed it with brush and color shaper.
Dogfaceboy>It actually snapped :). But next time, I will use Magic Sculp: it's harder and easier to sculpt than Milliput! Rest is a question of dexterity ;)

Hi all!
been a long time!
Few pictures of the last miniatures I've sculpted for World Of Warcraft Miniatures. Made in Fimo and Milliput, you may see more, bigger pics and details about the models on my blog. Scale is about 40mm...
The first is Cairne Bloodhoof, leader of Tauren. The second is a Blood-Elf Hunter. The third is Jaïna Proodmore, a powerful human.
Let me know what you think,
M.

Hello all,
here comes the last model I've made for Infinity (Sci-Fi miniature game). It was made during last year. This robot is for the Asian faction, very hightech and I-Robot style. It's actually a mixed between I-Robot and Cobra (the japan anim we all loved!) for the left arm weapon...
It's 32mm scale, made in Fimo.

Thanks all!
Brandon, hé hé, actually it's really easier for me to sculpt this scale than 1/6e for instance :) But I'd like to try it properly. Maybe soon...
I will post some close-ups of Angelo this week, and his "lémure" Ringioso...

Hello,
I continue with another project, made for HellDorado.
This character is called Angelo Casaviecchi, a mercenary who's hunting and selling small demons called Lémures. You can see some of them on the model.
Made in Fimo, he's 29mm tall at eyes level.
More pictures and some informations (like who inspired me :)) on my blog as usual... http://artmikh.blogspot.com/2008/11/paolo-na-angelo.html
